"Tim and his son Isaac (Project Superintendent) were extremely responsive and flexible to our needs and wants and made us feel that pleasing us was their primary mission. Our home was completed in late 2013 and we are extremely pleased with the final product. "When we decided to build our log home in West Jefferson a few years ago, we went through a lengthy process in deciding who would build our mountain home. We attended several log and home shows in Charlotte and considered many options regarding style and materials. After talking with many builders and after doing a whole bunch of research into log building systems and related processes, we came back to Tim to build for us. "Tim, and his son Isaac, showed us completed homes and made many useful suggestions that we incorporated into our cabin. They were willing to work with our special projects - such as the bathroom cabinets that we wanted to do ourselves - and made no attempt to steer us where we did not want to go. Further, they were willing to adjust to our requests for changes. For example, we added a huge tree trunk to the great room to cover the wall stiffener. Tim worked closely with local craftsmen and suppliers. This made it very convenient for us to choose such things as kitchen cabinets, granite and flooring."

"Our experience with Kenneth T. Parsons Construction, LLC. was outstanding. We are natives of NC and graduates of ASU. Upon graduation, we settled in FL and dreamed for years of building a log home in the mountains of NC. We found the perfect lot and sat on it for years until we decided to build.
We poured over lots of plans and decided to build a traditional log home with a porch and dormers. We researched log packages, visited several models and found that the Parsons offered us the package and the builder, rather than most who sold the packages and only recommended a list of builders. Tim and Isaac spent lots of time showing us homes they had already built and going over all the options available. They were flexible with changes we elected to make to the delivered floor plan.
Although we were absentee home builders, the entire process went well with few hiccups. They always quickly brought any questionable items to our attention in a timely manner. Since completion of the home, we have always been able to rely on Tim and Isaac to quickly answer any questions or handle any necessary repairs.
The final product is better than we could have imagined. Our family, friends, and seasonal renters are always in awe of our "cabin". They don't understand why we call it that because they consider it a comfortable and well built home rather than a small "cabin". We find it a warm, inviting place to spend time relaxing in the mountains with family and friends.
